Often times we find ourselves as proprietors looking for the best way to market our product digitally as the world of technology changes. These changes allow us to advance in the social media world of marketing. Another advancement made available to the world of marketing is (SEO) search engine optimization. This valuable function allows businesses to maximize their brand awareness online through search engines such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. There are different methods and tips to optimize search results that potential customers may find when searching the web for specific products.
SEO marketing techniques consist of a number of marketing strategies, searched words, and website popularity analytics. The combination of this research allows marketers to concoct the most efficient method of brand awareness through search engines.  At Businessinsdier.com we find that sites such as these provide SEO techniques and such to a wide demographic. This business magazine giant has been around since about 2007, providing tips to a decent portion of the entrepreneurial market. In addition there are other sites that provide direct support in the matter of SEO. (PPC) pay-per-click is an online option available that allows companies using digital means to promote their product a way to only pay for search engine advertisements as potential customers visit them. Charts like these are used to show companies needing marketing the priority of events and maintenance needed to conduct a successful marketing campaign for a website or an online product. These styles of marketing have become a primary method for companies without loss to spend in the marketing department.  This method in particular is one that I would use in my marketing strategy regardless of whether or not I have the funds to market my products any other way.  This will serve not only as marketing strategy, but one that can be used as a last resort in the event business resource reach an all-time low. Ok, so we know from last entry that there are several different means to get your beats out there… right? So now that we have taken the time to discuss the need the methods, we now look at exactly what they are and how each one could be the most beneficial to us given our current state of the digital arts, and more likely methods of approach.  We mentioned last entry that the main methods of income for a producer, stand up to the test of time.  These methods are: by hand sales, paid marketing, beat brokering, placements, and publishing. This is the main idea in general, so it would seem. 

As a proprietor in a digital age, the best options available to me at the click of a mouse include options like one at iStandardproducer.com that offer placements for beats. Sites like these guarantee some sort of avenue producers can use to connect with artists or get television placements (synchronization licensing royalties) etc. Beatplacements.com is another site with similar services that offer brokering, publishing, and placements through developed relationships with the pros. These websites stress the artist’s need for production services. They limit submission to control the amount of non-favorable works reviewed to save time and resources. It is important to be careful with dealing with sites like these when there is no certainty of an official business presence. Given the nature of the site's intent, it would be unlikely to notice a trademark of the Better Business Bureau, however it is still wise to check a website’s credibility.  To maximize profit is always best to self publish your beats.  This will help you cut costs that will cause you to have to inflate to meet the cost of your marketing demands marketing demands.  You do not necessarily need to sell them by hand, but through the many forms of online digital distribution mentioned. The world is a large place, but to most of us trying to master our careers, the world has always seemed to get smaller. The longer you do a profession the harder it is to get out of it. Throughout your journey, you will find your self in a sea of familiar associates seeking to become the most talked about, elite member of an industries top organization. Although, we have yet to reach this status we never feel like we’re far because we know the big game and the big names, right? In some cases that may be so, but in this instance we find that there is no official title for the programmer in the audio world. Although some would call the programmer a beat producer, some would other wise say that a producer is a producer, just like any other would rightfully proclaim to be.  After all the priority is to get those digital zeros after a few ones right?
            With this being the goal of all things in a career path, we must look at all the avenues of a particular jobs financial outlook. In this case it was mention earlier that the audio world would suggest that the programmer is also known as a beat maker. The value of media production is at an all time low. Not only have the latest changes in technology had us reevaluate the value of production but also the money spent on keeping it in circulation for retail. To this end, we find a shortage of work for any non-founding member and a lack of hiring and spending due to the economy.
With these stipulations revealed, we have come to find that for audio engineers seeking to gain a profit from their endless supply of weapons created in the lab of their production armory, there has to be changes to what is considered the most lucrative approach to marketing and promoting instrumental works. Seeing as how the game plan of the survivors of a falling economy is to downsize, anyone capable of matching mainstream quality control of a product can compete with other digital compositions. As labels have decided to downsize just as most companies have, single units of immune proprietors will remain. From the ashes, they will rise to the top of the commercial quality mountain.  
            Now, with this in mind, we now look at the most realistic options commonly available in this instance of our current state of technology. To the general public stands a list of typical options that are used to get best possible income from selling digital production. These methods are by hand sales, paid marketing, beat brokering, placements, and publishing. Although there may be other methods to build brand awareness, they are not as popular amongst the typical engineers of today.  A story posted at HipHopdx.com has Drumma Boy talking about his methods of publishing and how it varies based your skill level and the distance from your intended market (Paine, 2008).
