RIAA infects future growth!

One of the most important achievements an artist can hope to achieve is receiving a Gold®, Platinum®, Multi-Platinum™ sales award! The RIAA is the hub for about 85% of legitimate record music in the USA. In more ways than one the RIAA affects me in my future businesses. Almost every artist seeking to make it big that comes to the door will want to at least have their record go Gold®. That's not even to mention the fact that the RIAA tracks things such as the growth of overall sales and other things like reduction in piracy.

            Being able to digitally track sales is important factor in knowing which artists will make what amount of sales. Planning for expansion is important, and in considering these factors it is wise to consider an automated system that will allow you to validate your progress in the music industry. Pricing can be steep for anyone without good reason to check this information. Available at RIAA.com is a database that will allow you to track such information.

           

            Another important thing to remember is that they help regulate not just radio play the music in all its forms including ring tones, but they also assist in tracking royalties for artists. They in along with a few others track the information through legal legislation. Along with that comes another major benefit. The information logged in this database at the RIAA website is kept up-to-date. If you check the database you can find listings as late as this month. This will obviously give an artist an indication right away if their album has received a certification award. It is my intent to add any information I can about the RIAA and their website to my PLN to track information about my artists in the future.
